密封疊環的工作原理

它的主要原理是迷宮密封，在轉軸周圍設立若干個環形密封齒環，齒環與齒環之間形成一系列的節流間隙和膨脹空腔，密封的介質在通過曲折迷宮的間隙時產生節流效應從而達到阻漏的目的。


疊環綜合了摩阻、流束收縮等效應而達到密封。泄露液流在迷宮中流動時，因液體流動而產生摩擦，使流速減慢，流量減小。簡單來說和通道的長度與截面形狀有關，流道越長、齒環頂越尖，流量越小，密封越好。 另外泄露液通過迷宮端口時，會因慣性影響而收縮，流束的截面變小也會產生密封。
